March will be a meeting dedicated to familiarizing ourselves with two of the MANY candidates for Arizona Governor; Dean Martin and Hugh Kealer. Coming up in the months ahead we will have Governor Jan Brewer, challenger John Munger, and a myriad of others. Our yearly fundraiser is at Donna Borton‘s, located at 2840 Indian Springs. The days are March 19th and 20th, and Donna will begin receiving donated items after March 7th. Put it on your calendar.     Kentucky Derby Fundraiser Mark your calendars for yet another exciting and fun event with the Lake Havasu Republican Women! We will have the Annual Kentucky Derby fundraiser at the Havasu Gardens Estates clubhouse on May 1st, which is a Saturday. As usual, we will have our hat competition and plenty of wonder-ful food and drinks. Do your research and see which horse you‘d like to put your name on. In 2009 not one of the attendees picked the winning horse, so the entire amount collected went to the scholarship fund. ************************** ANNUAL DUES: $ 28 New members $ 10 Associate Members   Registered Republicans from Lake Havasu City, Arizona are welcome to join us at any time.   ************************** Take a look at what the LHRW has to offer.
